Account & Profile Data: We collect your email address, authentication credentials, and the dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences you voluntarily save in your profile to personalize your experience.
Camera and Images: To use the barcode and ingredient scanner, the app requires camera access. Images are processed locally or securely transmitted to extract text, but they are not permanently stored or sold to third parties.
Usage & App Data: We collect analytics on your scan history, saved grocery lists, and app interactions to improve our AI models, fix bugs, and enhance the user experience.

2. Amazon Affiliate Program & Cookies

MACRAM LLC is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We and our third-party partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track affiliate referrals, analyze traffic, and improve our services.

3. Third-Party Services & AI Processing

We use trusted third-party services (such as Supabase for database and authentication, PostHog for analytics, and leading AI providers for ingredient processing and alternative suggestions). These services only access the data necessary to provide their functions and are bound by their own strict privacy policies.
